Road

Two hundred and forty tractors, our own drivers and our own workshop at Tarsus. The truck exists to feed the ship, and it is dispatched by people who know when the ship sails.

A tractor unit and tri-axle skeletal chassis on the Mersin apron carrying a KERTE container, gantry cranes behind.
A forty-foot box twist-locked to a skeletal chassis. Four locks, one per corner casting — the same four points the ship's crane used.

Where we run

Europe

TIR through Kapıkule to Germany, the Netherlands, Italy and Spain. Five to nine days from Mersin depending on the border.

CIS and Iraq

Through Sarp to Georgia and on to Azerbaijan; through Habur to Iraq. Escorted where the route requires it.

Domestic feed

Gaziantep, Adana, Konya, Kayseri and İskenderun, running to the ship's cut-off rather than to a depot's convenience.

02 Why own the trucks

Because the cut-off is not negotiable.

A subcontracted truck that is four hours late costs its operator nothing and costs the customer a week, because the ship does not wait. Owning the fleet means the dispatcher who decides which load moves first reports to the same person as the person who booked the slot.

The workshop at Tarsus does its own servicing. Average fleet age is 4.2 years.
