Project and breakbulk

Transformers, turbine blades, reactor sections, cranes. Cargo that does not fit in a box, on routes that have to be surveyed before anything moves.

Looking up the boom of a ship-to-shore gantry from the water at dawn, the spreader hanging over the ship.
Fifty-five metres of outreach and forty metres of lift above the rail. What the terminal can do sets what the cargo can be.

How a project move is run

Survey first

Route survey, bridge and culvert loadings, overhead clearances, turning circles. Photographs and a written report before a rate is quoted.

Engineering

Lifting plans, lashing and securing calculations to the CSS Code, stability checks with the ship's officers. Signed drawings, not assurances.

Permits

Abnormal load permits, police escort, temporary removal of street furniture and overhead lines. It takes as long as it takes; we will tell you how long.

What we have moved.

A 214-tonne generator stator from Mersin to a power station near Kırıkkale, over eleven nights, with two bridges temporarily propped. Eighty-one wind turbine blades, 63 m each, from Çeşme to Erbil. A complete cement mill, 3,400 freight tonnes, from Antwerp to Aqaba and inland by road.

None of this is quick and none of it is standard. It is the part of the business where the answer to can you is always a survey rather than a yes.
